With ModelMinds we facilitate collaborations between talents. One of the people we love to work with is Toos Hartog. She approached us to learn more about illustration and visualization. With us she could apply her communication studies in real-life. The client we provided was Charlotte van Leeuwen and Maaike de Reuver from YES WE CANTEEN, who had earlier approached us to visualize their story in one picture for their website.
The connection between Toos and the girls from YES WE CANTEEN worked out great. The visualization in the below is now used on their website to welcome visitors. Great seeing it hanging at the University of Amsterdam (UvA):
YES WE CANTEEN is a new catering concept for the Netherlands that brings diversity in catering suppliers, hence more food choice for students at Dutch Universities. The visual tells a story in pictures that needs to be told. That is why we took the visual communication this time a step further – with the help of Prezi – we are enthusiastic about the outcome, but see yourself. Click here for the Dutch version.
Of course we wanted to see the new canteen ourselves, and since its just around the corner from our office, we went there last Monday at the opening of the Proefweek. We had an extended and splendid lunch. See for yourself!
It was a delicious and entertaining experience – with many film crews running around, guest speakers and a fairly chaotic setup of tables (which by the way enables you to connect to other people easily).
